Through diligent study and collaboration, you can gain experience through the college’s many distinctive programs.

The College of Business is a community of scholars dedicated to educating and molding the next generation of ethical leaders for Nebraska and the world.

The College of Business to provide an exceptional education for our students, and to create high impact research that informs important business questions of our day.

The new College of Business now has a coffee shop that not only sells a variety of caffeinated drinks, but also a variety of delicious snacks.

An 800-square-foot Yes Chef Café with décor that highlights Husker student athletes from the college. It will be open year-round and adjacent to a catering kitchen to facilitate large gatherings.

The College of Business offers 16 conference rooms that students can reserve to study in.

Howard L. Hawks Hall features experiential learning spaces and high-tech classrooms to increase opportunities for students, faculty, staff and alumni. The building strengthens an already strong community as a central gathering place to go to class, work, study, visit with colleagues and friends, get something to eat and hang out.

Learning communities offer students unique opportunities to form study groups, participate in campus activities, and build teamwork skills, while connecting to the campus community.

The College of Business is a recent addition to the UNL campus. It still has that "New College of Business Smell." The building is impossible to miss, with the outside being mostly made of glass, it shines in the sunlight! Being surrounded by so much newness can give you that fresh new urge we sometimes need to get the job done!
GPA: 3.38
Nap-ability: C
This is "bring your own pillow" territory unless you keep your nap game strong. There are comfy chairs to kick back and relax in on the landing spot of the stairs on each floor, but these bad boys are on a first come first serve basis. When you wake up, your neck may be a bit stiff, but at least you'll be bright-eyed for class.
Outlets: A+
It's like Oprah came through the CoB and outlets were her favorite thing. There are outlets and power strips for errbody. Do you want three outlets? Go ahead, get greedy. Charge your tablet, your phone, and your laptop all at the same time. CoB --> FTW.
Caffeine Boost: B
The "Yes Chef" cafe is the grub hub located inside the College of Business. And while there may not be a barista chopping up Colombian coffee beans right behind the counter, you can def grab a cup of joe, a RedBull, or a soda, and get right to work.
Ambiance: B+
The building is big for a reason - there are a lot of students hanging out here. This can be a plus or a negative depending on your preference. There are quiet, breakout rooms available which you can book ahead of time if that's your cup of tea. Plus, the glass walls on the outside of the building let in a lot of sunlight, so you can get your Vitamin D while you're studying for that A.
Accessibility: A+
You see that shiny building on campus? No, not Memorial Stadium. The other one. Yeah, that's the one. Located smack dab in the middle of the dorms, Greek row, and the Student Union, the CoB is just a quick walk from just about anywhere, and thank goodness for that. Because in Nebraska, it could be windy, snowy and rainy in the span of that five-minute walk.
Productivity: A+
Between the breakout rooms, the cafe, and the study pods on each floor, you can have a solo cram night or smash that group project in any part of the CoB. Just check the mounted iPads outside the rooms beforehand and make sure another group hasn't reserved that room ahead of time.
